Chez Lulu is a casual French-inspired bistro located at 1911 Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook's English Village. It was opened in 1995 by Carole Griffin as a place to show off the artisanal breads she bakes at Continental Bakery next door. The menu features sandwiches, salads, tartes, and fresh soups on a rotating menu. Pizzas are available in the evenings and a special brunch menu is served on Sundays. Sunday evenings often feature accordion performers.

Chez Lulu's interior, in rich jewel-toned reds and golds illuminated by lamps and Christmas lights, was designed by Griffin and artist Tracy Martin, who also constructed the the bistro's wrought-iron tables. The scheme inspired the name of the restaurant, based on a French euphemism for a bordello.
