Colonial Promenade at Trussville is a major two-part retail center first opened in mid-2000 just to the west of Exit 141 along I-59 at the intersection of Chalkville Mountain Road and Trussville Crossings Parkway in Trussville. The 388,302 square-foot shopping center is owned by Colonial Properties Trust.

Tenants

The $70 million first phase encompasses 685,000 square feet on 111.2 acres with 18 tenants, including Wal-Mart Supercenter, Goody's, Marshall's, and Regal Ciminas. Smaller tenants include Palace Chinese Restaurant, Family Christian Store, Hibbetts Sporting Goods, Philly Connection, The Shoe Depot, Fashion Bug, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hobby Town, Cellular Express, Custom Hair Design, Bath & Body Works, Dollar Tree, Hallmark, SunCom Wireless and Supercuts. Outparcels include a Chick-Fil-A, Milo's Hamburgers, American Family Care and Costa's Mediterranean Café, located on the site of a Bennigan's that closed in summer 2006.
