Dale Daniels was the former market manager for Citadel Broadcasting, acting as vice-president and general manager for all of that company's radio stations in Birmingham until he resigned, effective July 27, 2007, to take a position outside the broadcasting industry in Atlanta.

Citadel-owned stations managed by Daniels included WJOX-FM, WZRR-FM, WYSF-FM, WUHT-FM, WSPZ-AM, and WAPI-AM. His tenure as manager was marked by the demise of the once-powerful alternative format WRAX-FM, which he moved from FM107.7 to a weaker FM 100.5, and then replaced with WJOX, a sports-talk station.
