The Joseph Weaver residence is a 3,500 square-foot single-family residence located at 831 81st Street South, on a wedge-shaped lot between 9th and 10th Avenue South in Birmingham's South East Lake neighborhood.

The brown brick house with barrel-tile roof was built in 1930. Joseph Weaver resided there in 1932, but two years later it became the home of Fred Steele, a sales manager for WAPI-AM.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s it was the residence of pharmacist Benjamin Brooks III.

The house was renovated in 1998. The original tile roofing was removed in the 2010s and replaced with fiberglass shingles.
