Keith Mims is the owner of AdBest Advertising and a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 6 in the 2017 Birmingham municipal election.

Mims played quarterback at Ramsay High School and attended UAB. Before launching his advertising agency, he and his wife, Viola owned Vie’s Children’s Shoes in Woodland Park.

As a community activist, Mims was involved in public appeals for the city to replace Birmingham Fire Station No. 8 in Kingston.
