Lowery Parkway is an approximately 1.2-mile service road of Interstate 65 in Fultondale providing access to and built at the same time as Colonial Promenade Fultondale. The road, constructed in 2007, runs west from U.S. Highway 31 turning north before connecting to Walker Chapel Road (I-65 exit 267). It was named for Mayor of Fultondale Jim Lowery, who was an active supporter of bringing the shopping center to the city.
