The Maxwell Plantation is a 2,500-acre cattle ranch and estate with four miles of frontage on the Black Warrior River near Tuscaloosa. The plantation home, called Honeysuckle Hill, has six bedrooms and six baths. The property also includes a landing strip and hangar.

The Maxwell Plantation was sold at auction in July 2010.
