Michael G. Pickens (born October 18, 1974) is a Hueytown City Councilor. Pickens works as a programmer at Colonial Properties Trust. He is a 1993 graduate of Hueytown High School and completed his bachelor's in Management Information Systems at University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1999.

Pickens was elected to the Hueytown city council in 2004 and was unopposed in 2008. Pickens and his wife Tammy have one son.
