Michael Glenn Dean (born August 30, 1946 in Birmingham; died August 20, 2020 in Jasper) was a stand-up comedian, emcee and radio personality, known for his good-natured story-telling style of delivery and his deep appreciation for southern characters.

Dean was born at West End Hospital. He grew up in Hueytown and graduated from Hueytown High School in 1964. Dean worked in manufacturing and owned a business that fabricated steel tanks before pursuing a career in comedy.

He was a crowd favorite from his first appearance at the Comedy Club Stardome, and soon took on club owner Bruce Ayers as his manager, booking private and corporate events across the region. Dean was a regular guest on Rick & Bubba.

Dean died in August 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center of complications from COVID-19.
