Naked Art Gallery was an art gallery specializing in artist-made functional items.
Vero Vanblaere and Jennifer Staib opened the gallery in 1998 in the Raymond Rose Building at 2318 1st Avenue North in 1998. The name makes reference to the notion that art should be accessible to everyone, and appreciated by the "naked eye".
The gallery relocated to a house formerly occupied by Zoe's Forest Park at 3815 Clairmont Avenue in Forest Park Village in 2004. Naked Art was awarded "Best of The Road" by the Rand McNally Atlas US and Canada 2006 edition, and picked as one of the best galleries by the Birmingham News the same year.
In 2010, Vanblaere purchased the house next door and moved the gallery to 3831 Clairmont Avenue. Volunteers formed a "chain" and passed items from the old location to the new location. She decided to close the gallery on May 1, 2019.
