Danielle Pelkey was the former general manager (2011-2016), but had started working at the paper in 2003. [[Robert Carter (reporter)|Robert Carter]] was the former sports/digital editor.

The North Jefferson News is a weekly newspaper based in Gardendale. The publisher is Bill Morgan and editor is Melanie Patterson. The paper's offices are located at 1110 Main Street. The paper distributes approximately 3,000 copies of each Wednesday edition, and covers the northern part of Jefferson County plus a small portion of western Blount County, including the cities of Gardendale, Fultondale, Morris, Kimberly, Warrior and Hayden.
