The North Jefferson News is a semi-weekly newspaper based in Gardendale. The publisher is Bill Morgan and editor is Melanie Patterson. The paper's offices are located at 1110 Main Street. The paper distributes approximately 3,000 copies of each Wednesday and Saturday edition and covers the northern part of Jefferson County plus a small portion of western Blount County, including the cities of Gardendale, Fultondale, Morris, Kimberly, Warrior and Hayden.
