Peanut Place

The Peanut Place was a retail peanut roaster located in the former Peanut Depot at 2016 Morris Avenue in downtown Birmingham. The business used the antique roasters that were left when the Peanut Depot moved to the Parkside District in 2016.

Peanut Place was operated by building owner John Cassimus and his family.

In 2018 a new business, the Alabama Peanut Co., took over the location and the historic roasters.
