Richard Jacks (born c. 1972 in Talladega) is a real estate agent and former weekend meteorologist for WVTM-TV.
Jacks graduated from Talladega High School in 1990 and completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University in 1995. He began his career at a local cable station in Talladega, then was hired as a weekend weather forecaster in Anniston.
Jacks came to Birmingham to work for WBMG-TV, them moved to WVTM in 1997. Jacks earned his real estate license in 2012 and began putting together a marketing website, UABLiving.com, which was highly successful. He stepped down from broadcasting in May 2015 to focus full-time on his real estate career.
Jacks is also a licensed pilot and a member of the choir at the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
