Robert F. Bumpus (born c. 1933) is the former superintendent of the Midfield, Homewood, and Hoover school systems.

Biography

Bumpus married his wife, fellow education student Norma Allen, on March 5, 1955. He earned his B.S. from Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, Oklahoma. After both had graduated, the couple moved to Birmingham and had two children, Robert Franklin Bumpus III (1956) and Laronda Ann Bumpus (1958).
