The Rufus Cobb residence was the East Lake home of former Governor of Alabama Rufus Cobb at 6230 1st Avenue North, on the corner of 63rd Street North.
The Victorian-style mansion was heavily modified in 1954 with brick-clad showrooms for Burk's Antiques. It was later demolished for an access ramp onto I-20.
