Schaeffer Eye Center was a chain of optometry clinics and eyewear showrooms owned by optometrist Jack Schaeffer.
The company, founded in 1986, had 18 Alabama locations and was headquartered at 1686 Montgomery Highway in Hoover. The chain was known for sponsoring the Schaeffer Eye Center Crawfish Boil music festival each Spring.
In 2017 Schaeffer sold the business to MyEyeDr of Vienna, Virginia.
