Shades Crest Baptist Church is a 1,700-member Baptist church located at 452 Park Avenue in Bluff Park. Nic Seaborn is pastor.

The church was organized on May 16, 1954, and was sponsored jointly by Southside Baptist Church and Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. It had a charter membership of 45 people.

The original church building, a small sanctuary with adjoining Sunday School rooms, was incorporated into the much larger Rockland Building, completed in 1967. The first of the current stained-glass windows were installed in 1988.
