Shane Corn

Shane Com (born April 4, 1961 in Oahu, Hawaii; died November 29, 2011 in Birmingham) was a columnist and blogger and, as Shane from Center Point, a regular call-in participant on the Paul Finebaum Radio Network.

Corn graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School, where he lettered in football, baseball and wrestling. He attended Jefferson State Community College.

Corn, a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide penned a "Shane Sez" column on the Finebaum program's website and contributed to other outlets, including Capstone Report, TideFootball.com, and the Western Star.

Corn died from lung cancer in 2011.
