The Shanghi Baptist Church Cemetery (sometimes called Shanghai Cemetery) adjoins Shanghi Baptist Church on Quinton Road in the Shanghai community of southeast Walker County. The cemetery was first used by the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church, on the opposite side of the churchyard from the present structure. That church, already disused, burned in the early 1930s. A new community church was built in 1939, chartered as Shanghi Baptist Church in 1944.
The cemetery contains approximately 1,322 legible markers, the oldest of which marks the grave of Martha Jane Lawson (1857–1881). The cemetery was surveyed by the University of Alabama Department of Geography in August 2004.
Notable burials
- Ivy Andrews, Major League pitcher, died 1970
