Shirley Gavin Floyd (born c. 1953) is a retired Lawson State Community College employee, president of the Smithfield Neighborhood Association.

Floyd graduated from Parker High School and attended Birmingham-Southern College. In addition to her long career at Lawson State she has served as a business manager for the Civil Rights Activist Committee and been active in the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association.

Floyd ran unsuccessfully as a candidate for District 5 in the 2009 Birmingham City Council election. As a City Council candidate Floyd hoped to promote green initiatives in new construction, to support education, and improve public housing and transit.
