Mark Slade Blackwell (born June 14, 1968 in Mississippi) is a founding partner of Inkana Development and a former Alabama State Senator, representing District 15 from 2010 to 2018.

Blackwell graduated from Montevallo High School in 1987 and attended the University of Montevallo on a basketball scholarship, graduating with a bachelor of science in commercial design in 1991. He worked for Colonial Properties Trust as an acquisitions and development manager before founding Inkana in 1996.

Blackwell was an organizer of JeffCoCan, a lobbying group that opposed bankruptcy as an option for Jefferson County's debt crisis.

In the 2010 Republican primary Blackwell successfully challenged incumbent Steve French for the Alabama Senate District 15 seat.
