Slide, formerly Eat at Panoptic, is a restaurant specializing in slider sandwiches, along with salads, french fries and other specialties.

Chef Raquel Ervin launched her Panoptic catering company in 2014 and began operating a Panoptic Food Truck at an event at The Avondale on July 3, 2020. The truck continued to offer regular service from Smokey's Pit Stop at 2709 Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale.

She soon made plans to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant, originally called "Eat at Panoptic". Those plans were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the restaurant, in the former Green Acres Cafe at 1819 Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale, opened on May 1, 2021.

In 2022 Ervin changed the name of the food truck and restaurant to "Slide", and opened a second location in the Campus No. 124 development at 2408 Pelham Parkway in Pelham. In October of that year the former Irondale location moved to Birmingham's Parkside District.
