SouthBridge is a hotel and business park located on a 20=acre site along Southbridge Parkway off of 20th Street South/Woodcrest Place in Birmingham's Redmont Park neighborhood. The southern part of the development is located inside the Homewood city limits, adjoining Rosedale.

As originally proposed by Metropolitan Properties in September 1980, the $40.8 million development would include a 10-12 story, 300-500 room hotel with a 275,000 square foot office building. Some of the development's infrastructure costs were offset by a $3.5 million federal Urban Development Action Grant. The project was overwhelmingly opposed by the Redmont Park Neighborhood Association, which cited traffic and drainage among its concerns. The Birmingham Planning Commission approved the proposal by an 8-5 vote in February 1981.
