Steve Hudson (born December 2, 1958 in Jasper) is a noted golfer.

Hudson is the son of long-time Musgrove Country Club professional Travis Hudson. He and his brother, Tab, grew up on the course and both played for the Alabama Crimson Tide golf team.

Steve was a member of Alabama's first Southeastern Conference championship team in 1979. That same year he played in the U.S. Amateur Championship. He began playing professionally in 1981. He returned to amateur status in 1987.

Hudson was named "Player of the Year" by the Alabama Golf Association three times, and "Senior Player of the Year" once. He is a two-time champion of the AGA State Mid-Amateur Championship, and of the AGA State Senior Championship.

Hudson has been inducted into the Birmingham Golf Association Hall of Fame, and the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
