The Dagny

The Todd-Witte Building is a two-story commercial building at 2216-2218 1st Avenue North in downtown Birmingham. It was constructed in 1910 and housed the Todd-Witte Dry Goods Co. through the 1930s.

The building was renovated in 1953, and has since been used by Lindsey Office Furnishings. Residential Ventures of Denver, Colorado purchased the building in 2018 and worked with Creature to plan a redevelopment which includes a ground-floor restaurant with two residential units above. The plans include inserting a courtyard through the center of the building and adding a penthouse floor.
