WEDA-FM (Hot 97.3) was a radio station licensed to Homewood which broadcast a contemporary hits format at FM 97.3 from 1998 to 1999. The station was launched by a group of local investors operating as Homewood Radio. They hoped to fill the programming gap left by WAPI-FM's change to hot adult contemporary format in 1994.

The station also covered local (Homewood) news with Ouida Fritschi's program "On the Hot Seat". The 640-watt station suffered from competition with the 100,000 watt WQEN-FM which had moved its tower from Steele to Springville to bring its "103.7 The Q" to the Birmingham market. In 1999 Homewood Media sold the station to Cox Media, which switched it over to an active rock format as WRLR-FM "Real Rock 97.3"
