Wildwood Preserve is a 51-acre preserve developed by the Freshwater Land Trust located at 1298 Forest Brook Circle behind Wildwood Centre South which opened to the public in April 2018.

The preserve, originally known as El Paso Wildflower Preserve, was funded and named for El Paso Corporation, through its affiliate, Southern Natural Gas. In 2011, El Paso was looking for a environmental project in the Homewood area and inquired of the Freshwater Land Trust, which had owned the land since 2001. El Paso offered $35,000 to develop the area as a preserve, which opened to private tours on March 30, 2012.

The Freshwater Landtrust later built a half-mile-long walking trail and opened the area to the public in 2018.
