21st Street Studios is a gallery and studio space located in the building that formerly housed the iron cornice shop of the George F. Wheelock Co. at 109 Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard South.
It is owned by Sara Garden Armstrong, who bought the building for her own studio in 1979. She began leasing space in the building to other local artists in 1982.
The 21st Studio Gallery is a exhibition space on the second floor of the building that exhibits work by the building's tenants. In 2016 Armstrong partnered with several other artists to open Ground Floor Contemporary art gallery.
