The Artists Recording Company was a recording studio operated Homer Milam between 1956 and the mid 1960s. It was located above Britling Cafeteria at 1917 1st Avenue North in downtown Birmingham.

Studio equipment was limited to an Ampex three-track recorder and many bands gathered around a single microphone. Milam released many tracks cut at his studio on his own Reed Records label. The early released were pressed by RCA, with later issues pressed by Rite Records in Cincinnati, Ohio.
