Beth Franklin

Beth Franklin is a non-profit executive.

Franklin has a master's degree in counseling. She was the executive director of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society from 1991 to 1996. She left to found Hand in Paw, a non-profit that organizes visits by therapy animals to healthcare settings, in 1996.

Since leaving Hand in Paw in November 2018, Franklin has worked as development director for the UAB School of Nursing and Glenwood Autism and Behavioral Health Services, and as director of external relations for Oasis Counseling For Women & Children.

The Birmingham Business Journal presented Franklin with their "Odessa Woofolk Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2022.
