The Blue Velvet Salon is a hair salon located at 2834 Culver Road in Mountain Brook Village. It was founded in 1997 by Rachelle Perrin and is managed by Charles Earle. It is named for the 1986 David Lynch film Blue Velvet. The salon features a full line of Bumble & Bumble products.
In 2009 the salon was chosen as one of the 100 best in the United States by Elle magazine.
