The Brooke Hill School for Girls was a private college preparatory school for girls founded in 1941 and located on Red Mountain. The school moved into a newly-constructed contemporary-style building at the intersection of Redmont Road and Altamont Road in December 1958. Its director at the time was Martha Ordway.
In 1975 the school merged with the older Birmingham University School to form the Altamont School.
