Category talk:Visitor attractions

Should the Alabama Theatre entry or category be included? Should categories like "Historic attractions", "Sports attractions", and "Children's attractions" be added? If so, some categories currently listed here would belong under those sub-categories, yes? And finally, should there be a redirect category called "Tourist attractions"? • I've now included the Alabama Theatre category. "Historic attractions" may be redundant with "National Register of Historic Places", "Sports attractions" may be largely redundant with "Sports venues" (except Lawson Field, for example, wouldn't be a "Visitor attraction" and the ASHOF wouldn't be a "Sports venue"). A Category for children's activities is needed, but I'm not sure it needs to be a subcategory of this one. Playgrounds probably needs to be a subcategory of it, though. I'm talking to a potential editor who could provide some content regarding children's activities, but I'm not sure she'll be an active contributor. --Dystopos 08:27, 5 May 2006 (PDT)
