Clean Life Treatment Center was a proposed methadone clinic and social services center which applied to locate in an existing building at 3720 4th Avenue South in Avondale.

In addition to methadone treatments, the center planned to provide a clothing closet, counseling, GED preparation and English as a second language instruction. The center, which would have served as many as 325 clients, was incorporated by Thandi McClain of Montevallo. Its application to the state's Certificate of Need board was denied unanimously on October 21, 2009. It had been opposed by neighborhood residents and businesses, including Bottletree Cafe, which would have shared an alley with the clinic.
