Cletus Meagher

Cletus Meagher (born 1944) was the abbot of St Bernard Abbey in Cullman. He entered the order in 1964 and served nine years as pastor of Cullman's Sacred Heart Catholic Church before being elected head of the abbey in May 1995. He offered his resignation in 2009, per the rules of the community, but could have still be re-elected.

He was re-elected and served until his successor, Marcus Voss was elected in July 2019.
