Endomimetics is a biotechnology research company developing a "BioNanomatrix" coating for implanted medical devices, based on research conducted by Ho-Wook Jun and Brigitta Brott at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. It was founded in 2009 at the Innovation Depot, and has since moved to offices at 400 Riverhills Business Park, off U.S. Highway 280 in Shelby County. Joseph Garner is the chief executive officer.
