Eric Mobley

Eric Mobley (born January 19, 1995 in North Springfield, Virginia) is an energy engineer, pianist, composer, and president of the Birmingham Art Music Alliance.

Mobley's family moved to Alabama when he was 8, and he graduated from Thompson High School. He attended UAB and earned a bachelor of science in electrical and computer engineering with a minor in music technology in 2017, and a master's in information engineering and management in 2019.

While in school, Mobley studied piano performance and composition with Tatiana and Yakov Kasman. In 2020 he was awarded a national award from the National Federation of Music Clubs for his composition, "Piano Sonata in F# Minor".

Mobley is employed as an engineer with Sain Engineering Associates.
