Karen Church (born in Denver, Colorado) was a reporter and weekend news anchor for WBRC FOX 6 from 1998 to December 2015.

Church grew up in Los Angeles, California. She earned a master's in radio, television and film at San Diego State University and worked in television news in Houston, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina and Kansas City, Missouri before coming to Birmingham.

Church was notified in September 2015 by news director James Finch that her contract, ending in March 2016, would not be renewed. On December 16, 2015 she was fired by the station immediately following an erroneous report that Birmingham City Council member Marcus Lundy had turned himself in to police in the aftermath of a violent squabble with Mayor William Bell during a council meeting at Birmingham City Hall.
