Ozilene Cartee

Ozilene Shelby Cartee (born July 13, 1929; died March 23, 2022) was principal of Vestavia Hills Elementary West from 1978 to 1991.

Cartee began teaching math at the school when it opened and later served as school counselor before being named principal.

She and her husband Jackson had two sons, Michael and Jonathan.
