The Shook and Fletcher Insulation Company is an insulation manufacturer, supplier and installer. It was founded in 1949 as a division of the Shook and Fletcher Supply Company. It was spun off as a separate employee-owned business in 1967. Its offices are located in the Avondale Commerce Park at 211 37th Street North in North Avondale.

Until the 1970s, the majority of the company's products were manufactured from asbestos fibers, later supplemented by fiberglass, polystyrene, and talc.

In 1993, Shook and Fletcher was one of 20 asbestos manufacturers that jointly filed for a class action settlement in response to Esteban Ortiz v. Fibreboard Corp. 524 U.S. 936 (1998) attempting to cap their asbestos-related liability claims. The proposed settlement was rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court in June 1999. By 2002 the company reported 80,000 active claims against it.

The Shook and Fletcher Insulation Company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2002. As part of its reorganization, the company established a $109 million fund to cover its asbestos liability claims.

Part of the company's mechanical insulation division was sold to Specialty Products and Insulation of Charlotte, North Carolina.

In 2023 the company, with David Killion as president and general counsel, was absorbed into Shook and Fletcher Services.
