Sloss Tech

Sloss Tech is an annual technology conference held in Birmingham, primarily at the Lyric Theatre.

The event was launched in June 2015 by TechBirmingham and Telegraph Creative, and scheduled to coincide with the Sloss Music & Arts Festival at Sloss Furnaces.

Events

2024

The 2024 event was held on June 2728. Featured speakers included former Facebook data engineer and whistleblower Frances Haugen, and attorney, entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Andrew Yang. Comedian Roy Wood Jr served as emcee. In addition to feature presentations at the Lyric, the Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema hosted smaller panels. General admission conference passes were $239, and VIP passes were $339.

The conference was held in coordination with the gener8tor Healthcare Conference, presented by Prosper at WorkPlay on June 2627. Invited attendees were able to participate in a "Birmingham Innovation Tour" and a special HealthTech breakout panel.
