Specification Rubber Products

Specification Rubber Products (SRP) is a manufacturer of gaskets and other engineered molded rubber products used in the waterworks industry. The company was founded in Alabaster in 1968 and acquired by American Cast Iron Pipe Company as a subsidiary in 1969. It is headquartered at 1568 1st Street North. Its president is Steven Smith.

In 2024 the company acquired a 120,000 square-foot warehouse on a 16-acre site at 3500 Pelham Parkway to store raw materials for production and finished goods for distribution.
