Sperry Snow

Barton Sperry Snow (born c. 1948; died August 17, 2011 in Birmingham) was a co-founder of Barton-Clay Fine Jewelers.

Snow graduated from Shades Valley High School and earned a degree in political science at Jacksonville State University in 1972. He served in the Marine Corps before returning to Birmingham and entering the retail jewelry field and rising through the ranks to manage a major store. He and jeweler Clay McClain left to open Barton-Clay in 1987.

Snow married former Miss Alabama Ceil Jenkins and had one daughter before divorcing. He died in 2011.
