Strive Birmingham is a workforce development program operated in Birmingham by the East Harlem, New York-based non-profit Strive. That organization was founded in 2011 by management consultant and charter school founder Philip Weinberg.

The local program, focusing on nonclinical health care and office operations careers, was announced in June 2022 with financial support from the City of Birmingham, the Overton Project, the Alabama Power Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham. That same year it was granted "Good Jobs Challenge Grant" funding from the American Rescue Plan Act directed through Prosper and its "Workforce Success Roundtable."

Strive Birmingham's offices are located at SocialVenture in Woodlawn, and the Birmingham executive director is Quiwintre Frye.

The first pilot classes began in July 2023. At full capacity, the no-cost program expects to graduate 100 participants each year. In addition to education and training, the program offers customized support to assist with housing, transportation, childcare and other needs which can be obstacles to employment.

The Truist Foundation awarded Strive Birmingham an additional $1 million
