So despite renaming the party in 1977 (and back in 1980*), it was still called the "National Prohibition Convention" in 1979? Weird. (*Dates from Wikipedia.) --Lkseitz 12:30, 10 October 2013 (PDT)

  • Near as I can tell, they still considered themselves the Prohibition Party, but assented to the suggestion that they could win more votes by using the name of their publication, the "National Statesman" on the ballot. --Dystopos 13:04, 10 October 2013 (PDT)
