Valley Post
Valley Post is a planned multi-tenant restaurant complex located on the site of the former TreeTop Family Adventure at 2012 Dunnavant Valley Road (Shelby County Highway 41) in Chelsea. It is being developed by Mike Mouron of Capstone Real Estate Investments and Nick Pihakis of Pihakis Restaurant Group.
Mouron and Pihakis acquired the 6-acre property for $1.5 million in April 2022 and negotiated with Rives Construction to carry out the renovations. The City of Chelsea agreed to an incentive package which includes abatement of municipal sales taxes.
The main building is planned to house Rodney Scott's BBQ, Little Donkey, and Luca, with a new building for Hero Doughnuts. The restaurants will have their own outdoor seating, but will also be linked by a bar and common tree-shaded outdoor dining area. They will also share a common point-of-sale system.
