Valley View Park is a small Birmingham city park located between 15th and 16th Avenue South at the southern terminus of 18th Street South and 19th Street South in Five Points South, below Vulcan Park.
The park has a small playground and includes the northern access to the Birmingham Water Works Tunnel through Red Mountain.
An easement within the park was granted in 1987 to construct a small parking area.
Valley View Park was "irrevocably dedicated" for park purposes by the Birmingham City Council on February 29, 2000.
In 2003 Friends of Valley View Park president William Cale was granted permission from the Birmingham Park and Recreation Board to install a plaque dedicating the park's playground in memory of Sandy Sanderson, victim of the 1998 bombing of the New Woman All Women Health Care clinic on 17th Street South.
