16th Avenue South is a street in Birmingham's South Titusville, Glen Iris and Five Points South and Redmont Park neighborhoods.
16th Avenue South begins at Center Street South in South Titusville and continues west to Boyles Terminal Subdivision trackage. It picks back up at University Boulevard, passes beneath I-65 and is then interrupted by a portion of George Ward Park. The avenue resumes at 10th Street South and continues west, with a jog at 15th Street South, all the way to where it becomes 21st Way South just shy of the Elton B. Stephens Expressway.
Another section picks up as a continuation of 22nd Street South on the east side of the expressway until it terminates at Arlington Avenue.
