Vestavia Hills Elementary East (formerly Vestavia Hills Elementary School) is an elementary school located at 2109 Tyson Drive near Byrd Park in Vestavia Hills. It is part of the Vestavia Hills City Schools system. It was founded in 1948 as part of the Jefferson County Schools district, and was split off from that system in 1970.

The school has an enrollment of approximate 800 students in grades K through 5. The current principal is Mark Richardson.

Alterations to the golf course at the adjoining Vestavia Country Club in 2019 led to a number of golf balls being found on the school's playground. The school suspended use of the playground on Tuesdays through Fridays while holding discussions with the club about how to address the danger.
